MUSIUM DIV. SS16 collection pays tribute to the American grunge movement.
The campaign captured by Rainer Torrado in France is an outstanding collection of images full of the iconic rebellious spirit of the youth culture.
THE NEO YOUTH GRUNGE has penetrated into the core of MUSIUM DIV.’s collection. 2016 SS sees the powerful return of denim. Jeans, denim shorts and T-shirt is further enriched with meticulous details including scratch, yellow tint, wash, damage and patches, reliving the all-pervasive influence of the grunge culture. Military elements are also strong in the grunge collection with elongated military jacket, camo print T-shit, and military pants, with graffiti tee and oversize tee to complete a modern multi-layered army look. Apart from the monochromatic color blocking, the seasonal palette is dominated by sand, including camo print, off-white and khaki, to bring out the distinctive colour story of military style.
