Mr P. Unveils Spring/Summer 2025 Collection
by Adriano Batista
Mr P. has launched its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, now available on MR PORTER. The collection includes 330 pieces, covering everything from everyday spring and summer clothes to vacation wear, with new items being added throughout the season. It features ready-to-wear outfits, swimwear, footwear, and accessories, making it a complete wardrobe for the warmer months.
The collection is inspired by the work of photographer Elio Sorci, particularly his Paparazzo series, and the novel The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith, as well as the 1960 French film Plein Soleil. These influences bring together themes of European Riviera style, cinematic elegance, and timeless sophistication, all updated with a modern touch by Mr P. The colors reflect this inspiration, with sun-bleached yellows, soft sage greens, and vibrant blues that capture the feeling of endless summers and the Mediterranean Sea. Sepia tones, like those in Sorci’s vintage photography, add depth to the palette. Geometric prints are used throughout, with matching tops and bottoms that create a cohesive, elegant look. Neutral shades like natural linen and crisp white keep the collection versatile and polished, suitable for many occasions.
Tailoring is a key focus, blending classic shapes with relaxed resortwear. The collection includes modern linen suits in understated colors like dark green, dark grey, mushroom, and pale pink. Lightweight knitwear, such as polos and short-sleeve cardigans, is made from high-quality materials like cotton, linen, and soft terry. Mr P.’s signature suede jacket is also updated for spring in soft, muted tones. The mix of textures and timeless designs gives the collection a balance of nostalgic charm and contemporary style.
Accessories are another highlight, especially the sunglasses from Mr P.’s collaboration with Cubitts. This season introduces two new frames: one inspired by Cubitts’ archive and a brand-new design created exclusively for this collection. Footwear includes sandals, sneakers, boat shoes, espadrilles, and loafers, all made with soft suede for a sophisticated yet versatile look.
