“Modern Tailoring” capsule by Dior Men
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Dior Men is one of those luxury firms that is always a safe bet, especially when it comes to finding the perfect suit. If you’re in the middle of the search and capture and you’re a little lost, we recommend you take a look at the capsule of suits, called ‘Modern Tailoring’, that the Maison has just presented through a lookbook, designed by its current creative director Kim Jones.
Classics never go out of style and a good suit is for life, so it’s worth investing in. The ones from this capsule, and in general all Dior suits, have something special and are recognisable from afar, since they have a very marked style and details that make them stand out, in particular the blazers, whether it’s the zip, the buttons or the lapels they have, as well as other details such as the pins with the letters CD on them.
The fabrics with which they are tailored is another reason why these suits are usually recognised, as well as their respective colour palette, whose main protagonist is grey and its different tones. That’s why, if you combine all of the above, the suit will become the perfect companion for your life.
Jones, a contemporary designer if ever there was one, wanted to take a step forward in tailoring and in addition to creating different suits or dinner jackets, he wanted to introduce more casual pieces such as three-button or zip-up jackets with straight lines and fluid jogger trousers.
Are you convinced by this Dior Men by Kim Jones capsule? If so, you’ll be able to buy any of the clothes in their boutiques and online from June 6th onwards.
