Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) just unveiled that Marrakech, Morocco, is the chosen city for the 6th Edition of the FTA Prize, set to take place in October 2024. This event is a highlight of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Years of Culture, a series of cultural exchanges celebrating the strong bonds between the two nations and their leaders, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

The Years of Culture initiative kicked off on February 20th with an exhibition of Berber jewelry at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, symbolizing the deep-rooted connections between Qatar and Morocco.

FTA’s dedication to fostering regional creative talents continues with this year’s event. By selecting Marrakech as the venue, FTA underscores the enduring partnership between Qatar and Morocco, reflecting their mutual dedication to enhancing Arab culture and supporting regional creatives.

In anticipation of the event, FTA has released a video showcasing the diversity of Moroccan creative talents, each representing the nation’s rich cultural mosaic.

The FTA Prize will maintain its traditional format for the finalists’ presentations, judging, and awarding process. Details of the comprehensive schedule of events surrounding the FTA will be announced soon.
