LVMH Prize 2019 – The Nominees

The LVMH Prize has been a true enabler spotlighting emerging talent since it was launched in 2014. Earlier this week the twenty designers shorted for the semi-final headed by Delphine Arnault were announced. Seven menswear designers and 5 gender neutral collections were among the twenty nominees made up of:
3.PARADIS by Emeric Tchatchoua (French designer, based in Montreal). Menswear, showing in Paris.
BETHANY WILLIAMS by Bethany Williams (British designer, based in London). Gender-neutral fashion, showing in London.
BODE by Emily Adams Bode (American designer, based in New York). Menswear, showing in New York.
BORAMY VIGUIER by Boramy Viguier (French designer, based in Paris). Menswear, showing in Paris.
DURAN LANTINK by Duran Lantink (Dutch designer, based in Amsterdam). Gender-neutral fashion, showing in London.
HED MAYNER by Hed Mayner (Israeli designer, based in Tel Aviv). Gender-neutral fashion, showing in Paris.
KANGHYUK by Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon (South Korean designers, based in Seoul). Menswear, showing in Paris.

For its sixth edition, the LVMH Prize welcomed Chiara Ferragni as Ambassador of the Prize semi-final during Paris Fashion Week with the prize to be awarded in June by the jury including Tim Blanks, Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful Obe, Michel Gaubert, Jefferson Hack, Adrian Joffe, Karlie Kloss, Pat McGrath, Hidetoshi Nakata, Carine Roitfeld, and Natalia Vodianova among others.
Previous winners include Doublet (2018), Marine Serre (2017), Grace Wales Bonner (2016), Marques’Almeida (2015) and Thomas Tait (2014).
