Her show might not be in the opening slot this season, it was very clear that everybody loves Lou Dalton. For the entire finale of her Fall/Winter 2015 show the audience did not stop clapping. The clapping when Lou herself appeared on the catwalk afterwards was by far the loudest so far.

When you are going to one of her shows, you just know it is going to be good. “Tailoring and construction is who we are and what we do,” Dalton said about her latest collection. It is a recurring theme in Dalton’s collections and she did it very successfully season after season.
This season’s collection was all about Dalton’s signature black-on-black ensembles, but also introduced a more softer approach by including cosy fleece sweatshirts and long cardigans in dirty pink.
It was all in contrast with the very sharp MA1 nylon jackets and boiler suit. Together they created a strong look for the modern-day man with a beating heart for rich materials.
The coat on coat layering and ‘jacket-in-jacket’ items took Dalton’s minimal tailoring to a higher level this season. Emerging menswear talent Lou Dalton is and stays one of the absolute highlights on the London Collections: Men schedule.
