The collection is a homage to the iconic Paula’s boutique, a beacon of the counter-cultural movement of the 1970s, and a celebration of island life. It’s where the bohemian spirit meets the contemporary world, creating a wardrobe that’s as playful as it is practical, perfect for city escapades or seaside holidays, for the rhythm of music festivals or the leisure of summer strolls.
Artist Douglas Abraham lends his vibrant vision to the collection, infusing it with hyper-colored prints of abstract dice, teddy bears, and planets that adorn T-shirts, shorts, and swimwear, injecting a dose of whimsy into the summer wardrobe.
The art of basketry is reimagined with LOEWE’s new woven raffia versions of the iconic Puzzle and Puzzle Fold totes, alongside the Font tote and Iraca Basket in fresh hues. Each piece is a testament to LOEWE’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, with graphic stripes that follow the unique cuts of the bags, creating a symphony of color and pattern.
Leather takes center stage this season, with the Flamenco Bucket—a versatile day-to-night bag crafted in soft nappa lambskin—leading the charge. The collection’s playful spirit continues with leather accessories adorned with tropical fruits, animal-inspired pouches, and a kaleidoscope of colorful pins to personalize your look.
Footwear ranges from espadrilles that celebrate natural fiber craftsmanship to airy sandals and foam slides adorned with crystal and metallic pebble details. Biker boots in supple leather and brushed suede add an edge to the ensemble, while low-cut sneakers complete the skater-inspired vibe for men. The Sporty Mask sunglasses, with their sleek acetate frames and distinctive wraparound design, are the latest addition to the eyewear line.
The campaign, captured by Gray Sorrenti, features a diverse group of international musicians and creatives who embody Paula’s inclusive spirit. Their portraits exude ease and a laid-back attitude, set against a backdrop of playful still-life compositions that echo the collection’s motifs.
In a gesture of giving back, for every basket bag sold, LOEWE will make a donation to the local communities who handweave them. The donation will help to provide university scholarships in Colombia, build a craft training school in Madagascar, and provide humanitarian relief following the 2023 earthquake in Morocco.
