Fall/Winter 2023 has been full of decoding codes. For Loewe it included a different spin on essentials to wear at home or in the city. Timotheé Chalamet and Rowoon of K-pop boy band SF9 were some of the A-list guests in the audience waiting to see what Jonathan Anderson had to unveil for the season.

Away from the Y2K and skater statements that we saw in the spring, fall unfolds to an enhanced gentleman, beyond the pajama couture, all focus was on the coats. Dress coats without buttons slip over the head like a dress, a bronze silhouette made the strongest statement, bell-end coats. The contrast of fuzzy slides and classical Chelsea boots to satin and stiff wool, the contrasts created a soft sensuality. Colors ranged from canary yellow, 70s browns, creams, a look of silver and one of mossy green. The oversized statement leather totes completed that out of the house back on the streets juxtaposition among models with wings of desire and eyes of a vampire. Like night and day.
