Liberal Youth Ministry’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection titled “GOBLIN” is a raw exploration of adolescence, a turbulent journey between dreams and nightmares. Inspired by the haunting melodies of Sergei Rachmaninoff and the raw energy of Seam, the collection delves into the complexities of youth, balancing chaos with contemplation.
Drawing from the surrealist world of David Lynch and the rebellious spirit of Metallica, the collection’s graphics are a collision of contrasting elements. Deconstructed Dungeons & Dragons symbols clash with vintage collages, while a sports-inspired capsule, dubbed “OLYMPIAN YOUTH,” adds a jolt of adrenaline.
Garments are a reflection of this tumultuous journey. Deconstructed leather jackets coexist with distressed graphic tees, while elongated and shrunken silhouettes capture the physical changes of adolescence. It’s a collection that embraces discomfort and rebellion, a visual representation of the youthful spirit in all its chaotic glory.
