Leïti Sene presents new single: “MAN DAN GA”
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Leïti Sene is in his best moment, and not only because he has recently become a father with Sita Abellán or has participated in festivals such as Rolling Loud or Mad Cool, but also because just today he presents his second release of ‘‘APO0€AL1P$¡’‘. What more can the artist ask for from 2o22? Apparently little more, as for the moment, he can say that he is well served.

“MAN DAN GA” is the track with which Leïti returns to the music scene and which you will surely hear and dance on more than one occasion over the next few days.
As we saw in the first release of the mixtape, the emerging artist of the urban scene Leïti Sene, is in a new stage of transition, where he moves away from the trap scene and begins to find the sound that best defines him.
In this new facet, Sene shows more experimental music where he connects with his African roots, mixing different genres, such as afrobeat, amapiano, dancehall, or dembow, among others. All this can be appreciated in his new release “MAN DAN GA” where the influence of these musical styles can be clearly distinguished.

Regarding the track, Leïti comments: “Mandanga is the beginning of Apocalipsi, it’s my way of expressing myself to the world and telling the situation we are living, moving away from a trap sound and putting myself in what I think is going to be my sound/rhythm from now on. Mostly “mandanga” is the use of bass that is strong and can remind you of the trap sound, but it’s bass that is more percussive, so it’s more reminiscent of the African rhythm which is a rhythm that lifts you up and is connected to spiritual themes and ritual themes.
The chorus is a way of talking to my son and putting him in an apocalyptic scenario in which I have to leave and I give him the advice not to depend on people and to depend on the light and to connect with his divine purpose, because I think that’s the way to not need anything from anyone, not to humiliate anyone or put anyone below you. It’s a bit like the first door that opens the second part of Apocalipsi.”
Keep an eye on Leïti Sene and follow him closely, because he will soon be back in the music news due to a collaboration with a female artist. We promise to bring you news as soon as we can…
