Lacoste has partnered with Maison Château Rouge, a Parisian label known for its vibrant African-inspired designs. This collaboration, a fusion of French elegance and African culture, has resulted in a collection of eight textile pieces and four exclusive sneaker models.
The collection pays homage to the 90s suburban style and SAPE, a Congolese society of elegant men. Each piece, from the zip-up jacket to the printed T-shirt, showcases meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. The golden crocodile, a nod to Akan weights, serves as a signature element, adding a touch of African heritage to the designs. The sneakers, with their wax print-inspired insoles and contrasting stitching, complete the collection.
