LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault announced at the group’s annual meeting with shareholders that the June collection for Dior Men during Paris Fashion Week will be designed by Irish native Jonathan Anderson now officially announced creative director at Dior Men. A confirmation that many of us have been waiting for. In the midst of a massive industry transformation, a wave of high-profile designers are finding their ways to new houses. Anderson’s departure from LVMH’s label Loewe in March immediately saw the rumor mill in full mode with talks of him stepping into the iconic Dior house. During his time at Loewe, Anderson is recognized for elevating Loewe’s Ready to Wear by winning over fashion critics with his unique and eccentric designs while creating hit accessories like the now iconic Puzzle bag.

For his work at Loewe and his namesake brand JW Anderson, he has garnered numerous accolades, including British Designer of the Year in 2023 and 2024. With a loyal fanbase, we have to see if they will move over to Dior with him. We are excited to see him create his conceptual collections with that effortless, relaxed cool at Dior, or perhaps more strict and refined. Guess all eyes will be on Dior in June.
