Introducing Von Hund
by Christopher Riedl

Yet another fashion brand? For sure not. ‘Von Hund‘ comes with everything you urban citizens were hoping for. A classic, minimal design, with premium cuts and luxury fabrics at an affordable price point. Until now, most of us broke fashionistas had to chase the fast fashion retailers for affordable clothing. But what if you feel like, you have grown out of that? If you want something more honest but you just can’t afford designer clothing because your graphic design position just doesn’t pay enough? Well, ‘Von Hund‘ is exactly what you were looking for. Yet, with a twist. Fashion for men, women – and accessories and design objects for dogs. A fashion brand that has love for simple yet delicate clothing but also for friends with dogs and fair pricing.

How they do it:
“By skipping physical retail and offering our own-brand products directly to you at the equivalent of a wholesale price, we are able to spend much more than comparable brands on the highest quality materials and finishing and still offer each piece to you at what we hope represents considerable value“.

Where they do it:
“We like classic materials such as silk, leather, cashmere, cotton, stoneware ceramics and wood. To bring the pieces together we work with small-scale craftsmen & producers around the world who share our ethical and aesthetic values. We currently are producing our leather goods in Spain, ceramics in Thailand, jersey in Portugal, woven shirts and dresses in Lithuania and wood in Slovenia.”

About the brand (Isabel Kücke & Rohan Hooe):
“Von Hund is a new Berlin-based fashion and accessories brand for men, women and dogs. We like ultra-premium materials and minimal design. We believe in affordable luxury and the transparency of our process so our customers feel informed about each product’s history. You can only buy Von Hund products on this website and by skipping the retail middleman, we are able to pass on the savings to you.“
