HoMie joins forces with Tommy Little and Whitelion to launch #HoodiesforHomelessness
by Adriano Batista
HoMie has announced the launch of its inaugural #Hoodies4Homelessness campaign, encouraging corporates, companies, and consumers alike to join the worthy cause and don a hoodie on Youth Homelessness Matters Day this April 20. The biggest fundraising effort to date, #Hoodies4Homelessness will raise much-needed funds and awareness in supporting young people affected by homelessness.
“Youth Homelessness Matters Day brings to light an uncomfortable truth; that young people are disproportionately affected by homelessness throughout Australia. Alongside our incredible partners and advocates like Whitelion and Tommy Little, we are encouraging 28,000 people to wear a hoodie this April 20, to garner awareness and support while raising funds”, said HoMie co-founder and CEO Nick Pearce.
Whether you purchase a HoMie hoodie, with 100% of profits going towards supporting young people affected by homelessness or hardship or wear your own hoodie and donate what you can to support the campaign, everyone can do their bit to participate in Youth Homelessness Matters Day on April 20 and contribute to HoMie’s ongoing mission.
Long-time HoMie supporter, comedian and TV personality Tommy Little is excited to get behind the campaign, hoping to assist HoMie and Whitelion Youth in raising record funds to make a big difference this Youth Homelessness Matters Day.
Registrations for #Hoodies4Homelessness are open until April 20th. Register as an individual or group now at www.homie.com.au/hoodies4homelessness
