Gucci Returns to Its Roots: Florence to Host Cruise Collection

Gucci has announced that its upcoming Cruise 2026 collection will be showcased in Florence, Italy. This marks a return to the brand’s origins, as it was in Florence that Guccio Gucci first established his leather goods shop after finding inspiration in London.
Creative Director Sabato De Sarno has chosen Florence as the backdrop for this collection as a way to pay homage to the brand’s heritage. By returning to the city where it all began, De Sarno aims to connect Gucci’s past with its present, creating a meaningful and nostalgic experience for both the brand and its audience.
The show’s exact location will be announced later, but it is expected to be a highly anticipated event in the fashion world. With De Sarno’s creative vision at the helm, Gucci’s Cruise 2026 collection is sure to be a beautiful showcase of Italian design and craftsmanship.
