Gucci Presents The New Gucci Décor Collection
by Adriano Batista

Gucci Décor, an eclectic collection of items conceived to adorn the interior of the home, provides the customer with the necessary elements to personalize the different spaces of the house. Coupled with a flexible and personal approach to décor, this extensive selection of products brings a touch of contemporary Gucci romance to the home. Through the creation of new forms inspired by the House’s fascination with the physical and spiritual beauty of nature, the Gucci Décor collection features a series of objects characterized by novel reinterpretations of archival floral prints and animal totems. The primacy of nature as a source of inspiration is evident in this extensive selection of products imbued with romance and extravagance.
In line with the House’s spirit of self-expression, each piece is a unique objet d’art designed to enhance different rooms according to the personal tastes of each one. The result is a surprising and playful juxtaposition of hues, motifs and designs in which opposites forge new bonds.
In an advertising campaign conceived by Alessandro Michele, photographer and art director Max Siedentopf has created a playful landscape by framing new Gucci Décor items in the pristine atmosphere of a topiary garden. The pieces evoke the impeccable carved shapes of the hedges, while the lush greenery serves as a poetic background from which the natural curiosities seen in the collection spring.
The full selection of products will gradually arrive at a selection of Gucci boutiques around the world, as well as on www.gucci.com
