On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, celebrated on January 25, 2020, Gucci‘s creative director, Alessandro Michele, pays tribute to the year of the mouse through a collection of special items adorned with Walt Disney’s True Original: Mickey Mouse. The collection is available online and in stores.
This collection is the central element of the new advertising campaign of the House, captured by photographer and director Harmony Korine and starring the actress and ambassador of Gucci Ni Ni, the actor Earl Cave and the poet, designer and stylist Zoë Bleu. The images make up a cheerful narrative that tells a day in the life of Mickey Mouse at Disneyland.
The campaign’s narrative is a journey that captures the spirit of travel through different lights: the Parisian sunset, the break of dawn, and the glow of a bonfire.
In the digital age, a “personal brand” is often a carefully curated facade. But for Carlos Vasconcellos, it’s something far more authentic: a direct line to his soul.
TATRAS presents a new project titled “Layers of Japanese Craft.” It is a limited-edition capsule collection created with the traditional lacquer artisans of Wajima city.
