Grace Wales Bonner will be the guest designer at the next edition of Pitti Uomo
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
British designer Grace Wales Bonner, founder of her eponymous brand Wales Bonner, is on a roll. After making her debut at Paris fashion week last January (albeit digitally due to Covid-19 restrictions at the time), she has just confirmed the rumour we’ve all been hearing non-stop for the past few days. What? That she will be the guest star designer of the season at the next edition of Pitti Uomo.

That’s right, Grace will travel to Florence next June to attend the 102nd edition of the fair as guest of honour and to present her Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
As expected, she has not been able to hold back her excitement and happiness at this beautiful news, expressing in a press release the following words: “I welcome this special opportunity to express Wales Bonner’s vision of cultural luxury at the historically important institution of Pitti Uomo“.
From now on, G.W.B. can boast of being part of the exclusive list of designers who have been invited to participate in this event, including names such as: Telfar, Off-White, Raf Simons, Craig Green and Rick Owens.
The next edition of Pitti Uomo will be held from the 14th to the 17th of June and it will be there where we will be able to see Wales Bonner’s next proposal.
