The Georgian Fashion Foundation Prize is an initiative by the Georgian Fashion Foundation to reward established creative forces who need support and tutorship. Georgia continues to position itself as the center of gravity for creatives. The Prize was established by Sofia Tchkonia, the founder of one of the most significant fashion weeks in Eastern Europe, which is known and loved all over the world –  the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi.

After the worldwide economic recession caused by the Global pandemics, myriad promising brands found themselves in hot waters. We do believe that this overwhelming unfairness has to be properly tackled. And so does the Georgian Fashion Foundation.

Support must not be a matter of declarations, it must be visible to every participant and industry representative”, states the foundation.

To make this statement a matter of real action, the organization launches the Prize providing financial and business support. To be more specific, the Prize offers an array of rewarding options for winners: from tailored mentorship from the world’s leading experts to financial grants designated to support brands’ future collections.
