GCDS launches a Capsule Collection in collaboration with ONE PIECE
by Anna Barr

For the Spring/Summer 2022 season, GCDS collaborates with One Piece, the famous Japanese manga series created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997, to create an exclusive capsule for adventurers and cartoon lovers.

Starting from Creative Director Giuliano Calza’s passion for manga, GCDS developed a colorful collection inspired by the underwater designs of One Piece. The One Piece graphics decorate bowling shirts, cargo sweatshirts and jersey sweaters as well as maxi t-shirts and bodysuits. The famous Doflamingo appears on an oversized pink cardigan with all-over crystal stones, while on crop sweatshirts characters such as Shirahoshi pop up. Among the selection, also a pajama set and palazzo trousers with an all-over print, as well as a handmade crochet top, skirt and black dress recalling the famous skull.
Among the accessories, a printed hat starring Shirahoshi with a wide brim and a drawstring, logo printed socks and a shawl featuring the One Piece island.
