Fumito Ganryu launches the label ‘FUMITO GANRYU’ as the Designer Project at Pitti Uomo 94 joining the line-up of the upcoming Pitti Uomo, after the announcements of Craig Green as Menswear Guest Designer, Roberto Cavalli as Special Guest and the “FANATIC FEELINGS – FASHION PLAYS FOOTBALL” exhibition.
The Japanese fashion designer – who grew within the Comme des Garçons Group – will present his eponymous and independent label at Pitti Uomo.
The collection is an exploration of the ever-closer relationship between body and clothes, revealing the pure essence of Ganryu’s personal style: a new take on modern & conceptual.
“It is an honor for me to have this wonderful opportunity to debut at Pitti Uomo”, says the designer Fumito Ganryu. “I will do my best to express my vision taking it to new directions“
