From Barcelona With Love
by Fucking Young!
Zalando’s “Cultural Ties,” takes a look at the diverse and changing world of European streetwear. It focuses on cities like Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Warsaw, and Berlin, showing how local cultures shape fashion scenes. In Barcelona, a city known for its artistic flair and laid-back lifestyle, we find a diverse group of creatives who embody this fusion of cultures. @Valentino.x, a pop singer, @Matiosale, a stainless steel jewelry designer, and @Lua.fs, a rising DJ, each bring their own unique perspective to the city’s streetwear scene. “Cultural Ties” explores streetwear’s history, present, and future in these cities, uncovering stories of local communities and people who have shaped the culture. By examining the past, the study gives context to current trends and insights into the future of streetwear.
