FENG CHEN WANG x UGG
by Adriano Batista
UGG® and Feng Chen Wang have joined forces once more for their fourth collaboration. This collection draws inspiration from the Chinese phoenix, known as Fenghuang, a symbol deeply rooted in the designer’s work, signifying harmony and balance in its many forms. It’s all about embracing contradictions and championing freedom through individuality and self-expression.
At the heart of this collaboration is the ‘phoenix’ motif, representing rebirth and perseverance. The campaign imagery captures the spirit of the phoenix with unrestrained, airborne body language, encouraging everyone to embrace the freedom in the air and confront challenges head-on. This campaign strives to bridge the gap between one’s internal world and external societal norms, seeking a balanced harmony amid contradictions.
Combining the iconic UGG DNA with Feng Chen Wang’s multidimensional aesthetic, the fourth-generation UGG x Feng Chen Wang infuses this design philosophy into both inner and outer styling, along with transformative, removable elements. This season’s UGG® Tasman takes innovation to a new level with a 4.0 version of a two-in-one design. The revamped Tasman combines a metallic buckle sandal with an inner lining pad, seamlessly merging style, comfort, and warmth. The collection also includes all-gender convertible jackets and cargo pants featuring the iconic phoenix silhouette, while the bucket hat proudly displays the UGG x Feng Chen Wang mashup logo and a functional strap.
