ColombiaModa SS20 Backstage!

This year I have been invited to ColombiaModa. It’s a very special year as it celebrates the 30th anniversary of one of the most important fashion fairs in Colombia and America. They are 30 years linked to important events in the country, always trying to create a protected space and looking towards the future, even in the darkest moments of the country’s history and the city of Medellín.
It is an event that has combined entrepreneurship and creativity in an immense space where several fashion brands, companies, and creative personalities coincide.
It was also my first time in Medellin, a city that has surprised me and it’s quite far from the clichés absorbed in Netflix series. It is a vibrant city, with a modern structure, the best food and of course, lots of reggeaton!
Within the calendar, I have been able to meet established and emerging brands that create a masculine universe a bit far from what we can see on the European catwalks, but that also complements and even inspires it.
