2023 is set to be the year of menswear at Christian Louboutin, with standout styles that promise to take the modern man’s wardrobe in a bold new direction. And what could be bolder than a gentleman in heels?
This season sees the Maison reinforce its heeled menswear offer with the AIGLE line, a collection of boots and loafers designed to take any look to new heights – quite literally. Unapologetically rock’n’roll with its 8cm stacked Cuban heel, the AIGLISSIMA boot boasts a sleek, pointed toe and in its most over-the-top couture iteration, comes covered in black strass. Equally distinctive, the AIGLON and AIGUILOU loafers both feature a CL emblazoned heel and sharp geometrical lines. Last but not least, the flamboyant ROSALIO boot takes its inspiration from Flamenco’s leading men celebrating the spirit of Andalucía and its traditional craftsmanship and is presented in both a high and a low-cut version in different combinations of colors and materials.
Available online and in stores worldwide from May, the Fall/Winter 2023 collection marks a new chapter in Christian Louboutin’s constantly evolving menswear offering, with typically innovative designs.
