The Detroit-raised and Guinea-born designer, Mamadou Bah, is dropping his newest collection from his emerging brand C’EST BON. The collection, entitled “Fundamental“, is about bringing awareness to those memorable moments during high school’s senior year, touching on the mindset of transitioning from adolescence into adulthood.
“Looking at how it’s been 10 years now since I graduated high school. I always kept a mental note; I don’t want to be the person that peaked and forgot about his dreams. In this collection, I wanted to remind upcoming youth and peers to think beyond labels and their environment and push to learn as much as you possibly can. The experiences I have adapted to, post-high school, is the reason I am here today. The right mindset transcends youth beyond society’s superlatives.” – says creator Mamadou Bah
