To celebrate the beginning of summer, the world’s first large-scale 360-degree nomadic concert experience, has announced its extraordinary roster of global talent. Redefining the boundaries of music and visual storytelling, this live performance series brings together artists known for their ability to merge sound and visuals into deeply immersive experiences, marking a significant evolution in the Cercle journey. Conceived and directed by Cercle’s Founder and Creative Director, Derek Barbolla. This nomadic experience will unfold across three global capitals – Mexico City, Los Angeles and Paris – transforming each location into a transformative audiovisual environment. Over five days in each city, two concerts will take place per day, welcoming up to 5000 attendees per show. Each performance is a collaborative creative endeavor between Cercle and the artist, merging music, narrative, and visuals to craft an unparalleled experience. Unlike traditional festivals or concerts, Cercle Odyssey transports audiences into an otherworldly journey where sound, storytelling, and scenography unite in a seamless, cohesive vision.
Mexico City will have a week of unique immersive concert experiences A selection of forward-thinking artists merging music and visual storytelling; The series launches Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 April featuring performances by experimental pop trio WhoMadeWho, electronic record producer and songwriter Mura Masa, and ambient electronic duo The Blaze, and British band Jungle for a DJ set, alongside melodic techno sensation Ben Böhmer and German singer-songwriter and electronic producer Monolink. Other acts include recent Grammy award-winner Rawayana, neoclassical artist Hania Rani, and Spanish singer Judeline. As Cercle expands beyond its electronic roots, these collaborations reflect a bold embrace of genre-defying artists whose work resonates on both an auditory and visual level whose work resonates on both an auditory and visual level.
Los Angeles will focus on a visionary 360° journey, bringing legendary artists and boundary-pushing performances to an immersive stage. Cercle Odyssey will continue its global journey at the Los Angeles Convention Center (Tuesday, May 7, to Sunday, May 11, 2025), featuring boundary-pushing performances from legendary artists. Moby will take the stage for his only live shows of 2025, alongside the visionary Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun, whose performance will feature a visual narrative entirely co-created with their creative team. Also performing are Paris-based ambient electronic duo The Blaze and British producer-composer Paul Kalkbrenner, with the final artist soon to be announced.
Finally, Paris will have a grand finale of immersive storytelling uniting iconic Cercle artists and visionaries from new genres. The final destination of Cercle Odyssey’s 2025 tour will take place in Paris (Wednesday 28 May to Sunday 1 June), culminating in a breathtaking artistic spectacle. The first show will be with renowned composer Max Richter, known for his deeply emotive fusion of classical and electronic music. The immersive stage will also feature melodic techno sensation Ben Böhmer and German singer-songwriter and electronic producer Monolink, each bringing their distinctive sonic and visual artistry. The experience will expand further with an eclectic mix of artists, including rapper Yâme, NTO x Sofiane Pamart and Bonobo, ensuring a grand finale where music, visuals, and storytelling seamlessly intertwine.
Much like the legendary journeys that have inspired storytellers for centuries, Cercle Odyssey embarks on an artistic voyage that reimagines the concert experience. Inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, this innovative format brings nature and heritage directly to audiences in urban centers, rather than taking audiences to remote landscapes as previous Cercle shows have done. Visionary film director Neels Castillon, known for his poetic storytelling and evocative visual artistry, leads the cinematographic direction. His work on Cercle Odyssey will explore humanity’s profound connection to nature through a striking blend of visual poetry, live music, and expansive 360° projections, making Cercle Odyssey far more than a concert or festival, but a radical new form of artistic expression.
