Casablanca Resort 2025
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
French luxury and contemporary fashion house Casablanca – creatively directed by its founder Charaf Tejer – for the Resort 2025 collection has chosen to continue to focus on the classic beauty and contemporary charm of the ever-impressive Greece, treated from a more relaxed perspective, as well as on the ancient influences of the country’s own iconography and sporting history, fused with the firm’s hallmarks.
Joining the garments designed for these months is the opulent Musée Bourdelle in Paris, the setting chosen for the team and Pierre-Ange Carlotti to shoot the lookbook, in which the models can be seen wearing looks composed of tailored navy blazers and shorts, sets consisting of tracksuit jackets and baggy trousers, and knitwear in nautical tones.
As a novelty, Casablanca is also bold enough to present its first-holiday approach, a light grey unisex dinner jacket with satin lapels worn over an après-sport ensemble. The range also includes an elevated long-sleeved knitted polo shirt, updated with a woven metallic brand monogram and finished with pearl buttons, and short silk ensembles presented in silver and white, an undulating gradient motif that harks back to the theme of ancient Greece.
