Burberry celebrates the Year of the Snake with a special collection and a unique collaboration.

Red, the lucky color for the Chinese New Year, is the star of the show. The classic Burberry Check gets a festive update, and a new “B snake” motif adds a touch of fun. The collection includes everything from warm outerwear to a sleek trench dress and comfortable separates. There are even smaller versions of the puffer jacket and check scarf for the little ones. And for gift-giving, there are silk and cashmere scarves, a leather wallet, hats, and a bag charm.

Burberry teamed up with Qian Lihuai, a renowned bamboo weaver from China. Weaving is a big part of Burberry’s history, from their signature gabardine to the iconic check scarf. Qian comes from a family of weavers, and he brings a modern touch to this ancient craft.

Qian created nine bamboo sculptures called “Us” for Burberry. These snake-like forms are both individual pieces and part of a connected whole, symbolizing family, love, and support.

Burberry’s patterns remind me of bamboo weaving,” says Qian. “It’s a perfect match.”

The collection is now available in stores and online, ready to help you celebrate the Year of the Snake in style.
