Daniel Lee’s Burberry Winter 2025 collection tells a story of escape, heritage, and reinvention. Inspired by the timeless tradition of Londoners fleeing the city for the countryside, the collection captures the essence of weekend getaways, blending practicality with the faded elegance of England’s grand stately homes. The show, held at London’s Tate Britain, weaves together outdoor adventure and indoor opulence, creating a narrative that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
The collection draws heavily from the interiors of historic country houses, where hand-painted wallpapers, sumptuous tapestries, and richly textured fabrics tell stories of craftsmanship and time. Lee reimagines these elements in clothing, bringing the indoors outside. The result is a collection that feels layered and tactile, blending the rugged with the refined.
