Barcelona Welcomes ARKET’s Vision of Beautiful Everyday Life
by Adriano Batista
ARKET, the popular Nordic brand known for its everyday essentials, has finally opened its doors in Barcelona. This is their first store in Spain, and it’s a big one – a whole 650 square meters of shopping bliss on the famous Passeig de Gràcia.
Expect the usual ARKET vibe: clean lines, calming grays, and tons of natural materials like wood and plants. They’ve even kept the cool features of the old building from 1900, making the store feel historic yet fresh.
What can you find here? There’s clothing and accessories for women, men, and kids, plus beauty products and a curated selection of homeware. They’re serious about sustainability too – there’s a lovely rooftop terrace to chill in, and the seating areas inside feature cool, pre-loved furniture that’s been given a new lease on life.
“This is one of our most anticipated openings yet, and we couldn’t be happier to finally open our first store in Barcelona. We look forward to meeting our Spanish customers in person and inviting them to discover the full ARKET proposition: a new modern market concept designed for a more beautiful everyday life,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, Managing Director of ARKET.
And to make things even more interesting, there’s a pop-up bookstore inside with books picked by Apartamento, a local Barcelona publisher. They’ve got stuff on food, art, and how to live a good life – the perfect way to round out your ARKET experience.
