Balenciaga Spring 2025
by Adriano Batista
In Shanghai, as evening arrived, Balenciaga introduced their Spring 25 collection at the Museum of Art Pudong. The outdoor runway was set against the backdrop of the city’s skyline at dusk, creating a memorable scene for the show.
The music for the night was provided by BFRND, setting the tone for the unveiling of the new line. The collection featured ready-to-wear pieces that drew inspiration from the vertical lines of Pudong’s skyscrapers. The collection also played with the idea of transformation, and accessories were bold, with platform boots and sneakers designed to echo the towering buildings of Shanghai.
