BALENCIAGA MUSIC | BRITNEY SPEARS SERIES
by Adriano Batista
Balenciaga dropped its Music | Britney Spears series, a capsule collection and musical project celebrating the pop icon. It’s the first time Spears has bridged fashion and music in a single collaboration, arriving alongside Demna’s final Balenciaga collection, Exactitudes.

The limited-edition lineup includes T-shirts, hoodies, and silk flags printed with Spears’ autograph and archival photos by Rankin and Steven Klein. Studded, jeweled caps and intentionally faded finishes give the pieces a nostalgic, tour-merch vibe, like treasured memorabilia pulled from a fan’s closet.
“I have always loved fashion,” Spears said. “I was so honored and excited Balenciaga and Demna chose to collaborate with me. These are some of my favorite images from an amazing time in my career and life.”

The fashion drops alongside a Spears-curated playlist of her personal favorites and inspirations, streaming via Balenciaga’s Music Hub. The real gem, though, is the Britney4ever EP by BFRND (Balenciaga’s longtime music director) featuring a Gimme More remix (previously heard in the Summer 2025 show) and a new take on Oops!… I Did It Again for its 25th anniversary.
“Britney is a trailblazer,” BFRND said. “She defined pop music and inspired generations. Reworking her legacy is a great honor.”
