AURALEE × New Balance MADE in USA 990v4
by Adriano Batista
AURALEE and New Balance have teamed up again to release the “AURALEE × New Balance MADE in USA 990v4.” This new collaboration, which was first shown at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in January 2024, will be available on December 13th.
This is the first time AURALEE has worked on a Made in USA series with New Balance since 2019. They’ve taken the classic New Balance 990v4 and given it a fresh look with a stylish color palette and details. The result is a modern sneaker that blends Japanese and American craftsmanship, perfect for urban style.
For this collaboration, AURALEE and New Balance updated the 990v4’s materials, colors, and details. The sneaker is made with high-quality nubuck, mesh, and suede, giving it a classic and elegant look. The subtle tonal variations add depth to the design. The taupe colorway features dusty blue accents, while the dusty blue version has a pop of lime green for a modern twist. The sneakers also come in a special shoe box.
The New Balance 990 has been a popular choice since its release in 1982. It was designed to be the best running shoe on the market and quickly became a symbol of quality and style. The 990v4, introduced in 2016, is a modern update of the classic silhouette. It features a premium pigskin suede and mesh upper in a classic navy colorway.
