For Spring/Summer 2015 Rick Owens and adidas expand their collaboration with three new models exploring the possibilities of both innovation and heritage.
With the upcoming season Rick Owens brings together his unmistakable design identity combining it with the highest level of innovation by using the adidas Spring Blade tooling. The first adaptation, the Blade High reworks a boxing silhouette with the innovative sole, the upper features covered lacing and the iconic adidas 3 stripes as a perforated execution. The Blade Runner features a foot hugging sock construction with supportive side panels to give a paired back take on the running silhouette.
For the third new style the ‘Superstar Boot’ Rick Owens reworks the iconic adidas shell toe, reducing it to its core identity and combining it with a simple high quality stretch leather calf high boot cut.
Presented this June during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the adidas by Rick Owens collection will be available from mid January 2015 with a retail price ranging from € 490 – € 690.
