adidas Originals and Kid Cudi Launch The VADAWAM 326 Silhouette
by Adriano Batista

This December, adidas Originals and Kid Cudi return with the latest installment of their ongoing partnership, linking up to present the Vadawam 326 sneaker – a shoe that is out of this world, brought to you by Kid Cudi’s mind. Having inaugurated the collaborative journey with a re-issue of the iconic adidas Artillery Hi, this time around Cudi crafts his own unique silhouette, named after his daughter, Vada. The launch of the Vadawam 326 silhouette is then complemented by a visual campaign, which playfully brings the sneaker to life. This is Kid Cudi’s other baby, a shoe he built from the ground up.
Cudi looks to build a future classic in the striking sneaker composed of a smooth leather upper, matched with protective overlays and decorative straps, as well as a torsion bar in the midsole for added stability. Rounding out the look, the number 326 is stitched into the collar — a subtle nod to Cudi’s daughter’s birthday, positioned on the medial side of the shoe in reference to his Vada tattoo on the left side of his neck. The Vadawam 326 silhouette is then offered in two contrasting colorways: Core Black/Night Grey/Solar Pink and Core White/Ecru Tint/Easy Yellow.
Launching on December 17th at www.adidas.com
