La ‘reina del pop’ después de haber sido sustituida como imagen para Louis Vuitton (por una modelo más joven) ha fichado por los italianos Dolce & Gabbana.
La revista ‘Vanity Fair’ en su edición italiana ha sido la encargada de publicar las primeras imágenes de esta colaboración. Las fotografías son obra de Steven Klein y recogen unas ficticias escenas de una italiana (Madonna) tras el fin de la II Guerra Mundial, que come pasta sobre la encimera de la cocina o que parte el pan sentada a una mesa con mediterráneos tomates y mantel con motivos vegetales. Una autentica mamma italiana…
No les costó mucho convencer a Madonna para posar con ropa de ama de casa, porque “también las divas comen espaguetis”. “Le encantó la colección. Es apasionada y una impresionante conocedora del cine italiano”, comenta Stefano Gabbana, quien explica que la italiana Monica Vitti es una de las actrices favoritas de la cantante y que Madonna se puede permitir comer los espaguetis que quiera “con todo el ejercicio que hace”.
La primavera-verano del próximo año, según Domenico Dolce y Stefano Gabanna, busca dar relevancia a la herencia mediterránea y a la sensualidad italiana, en una estética inspirada en las películas del neorrealismo, que cuenta entre sus con exponentes con los directores Luchino Visconti y Vittorio de Sica. De inspiracion siciliana, la colección sacará del baúl de los recuerdos piezas tan sensuales y sexys como el corsé.
