A.P.C.‘s Jean Touitou and Carhartt‘s Arnaud Faeh both hate the concept of collaboration. What then should we make of the A.P.C. + Carhartt collection, now in it‘s third incarnation?


In their words it is simple: “Boat Mates”. It is the birth of a new brand by a group of guys who are friends foremost but also happen to run very popular, successful brands. That is, the A.P.C. + Carhartt project is not the construct of some faceless marketing executive but rather an organic development between Touitou and the team at Carhartt, creating product using gut instinct as the principal guide.
The collection continues to expand with each instalment and fans can expect the collection to become a permanent fixture; so long as those at the helm continue to have fun!
The collection launches worldwide in A.P.C. and Carhartt stores today, 19th of October 2012.
