Upcycling Dreamers

Juan VG and Tania Marcial are two designers who are nonconformists with the way fashion works and the system. They met in 2021 through an Instagram DM, and since then they have called themselves “the Upcycling siblings”. They were never rivals; from minute 0 they have accompanied, helped, and advised each other on their path. Their philosophy is based on recovering outdated pieces and creating fabrics that tell stories through them. Although they both work with this technique, each one draws on different aesthetic references, depending on their background and local environment, concluding that their target could be the same person.
On November 16th and 17th, they’re inviting you to their pop-up shop in Barcelona (El Born / Carrer Comercial 3, Galería Krukopi). It’s a chance to meet the community, see their work, and be part of their journey.
