Pigmentarium has launched a new fragrance, La Petite Mort, created in collaboration with the artist Adonxs. This limited-edition scent is the tangible result of a close dialogue between the perfumer and Adonxs’s artistic world, intimately tied to his current single, “Perfume.”

The song explores the powerful link between scent and memory. It captures the moment a familiar aroma transports someone back to a past moment or person, mixing happiness with a trace of pain. As Adonxs notes, the song is about a scent becoming a “time capsule.”

The collaboration is also a product of a long-standing friendship between Adonxs and Pigmentarium’s founder, Tomáš Ric. Their shared passion for art and making things made this project a natural culmination of their connection. Together, they blur the lines between music, art, and scent.

The fragrance itself, La Petite Mort, opens with a sharp burst of bergamot, juniper, and pepper. This intensity gradually softens into the delicate floral notes of geranium and jasmine, with a subtle bittersweet thread from orange blossom. The composition finally settles into a tranquil, woody base of olibanum, amber, and a cool, powdery cedar. The 10ml bottle is available exclusively online.
