As the Fall/Winter season settles in (that moment when dropping temperatures often take style down with them), Canada Goose steps forward to remind us that warmth and good dressing aren’t mutually exclusive. With Haider Ackermann at the creative helm, the brand unveils its third collection under his direction, introduced through a launch lookbook that sets the tone for what’s to come. And yes, it proves that winter can (and should) be worn with intention.

Rather than leaning into the instinct to pile on layers and let silhouettes disappear for the sake of comfort, Ackermann flips the narrative. His new line strikes a considered balance between functionality and finesse, ensuring each piece protects the body while still appealing to the eye.

Minimalist forms anchor the capsule, calm and sharply defined, occasionally interrupted by logos and message-driven graphics that act as subtle declarations. A colour palette ranging from soft pastels to vibrant tones breathes energy into grey days, injecting lightness into technical outerwear. Construction details (neckline fastenings, multi-pocket structures, and clever, utilitarian solutions) push the garments toward a quietly contemporary sensibility.

Completing the offering, accessories play a decisive role: waterproof earflap hats, knitted mittens, and other winter essentials round out the collection while keeping coherence and purpose at the forefront.

Supporting its release, the lookbook, photographed by Tim Elkaïm, with Nelson, features a cast that captures the various moods of the collection. Actor and artist D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Tasha Tilberg, Stevie Sims, Xiaowen Ju, Connor Newall, and, naturally, the legendary country icon Willie Nelson, who steals the spotlight, all bring Ackermann’s vision to life.
