Gentle Monster opens its first flagship store in continental Europe

Gentle Monster has opened its first flagship store in continental Europe, located in the historic Le Marais district of Paris. The space captures the brand’s spirit, merging forward-thinking design with immersive storytelling to create an emotional and unexpected experience.
The centerpiece is the GIANT HEAD KINETIC OBJECT, an installation built by the brand’s own robotics lab. It consists of three distinct faces. A central face gently closes its eyes and shakes its head in thought, while a larger and a smaller face move fluidly around it. With softly blinking eyelids and shifting pupils, the piece captures the complex nature of thought, emotion, and human connection.
Other elements contribute to the atmosphere. On the first floor, a STAR object interacts with natural light, casting a glow like the morning sun. It aims to capture the essence of emotion and the unseen layers of identity.
