Change isn’t always about moving forward, but sometimes, it’s about holding on. For their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Milieuschutz, Richert Beil explores exactly that tension. The title, borrowed from Berlin’s legal protections for historic neighborhoods, becomes a metaphor: how do you preserve what matters while still evolving?

The answer lies in the brand’s new home, a 135-year-old Kreuzberg pharmacy, its walls steeped in history, now carefully reshaped into a studio. That act of renewal, of respecting the past without being trapped by it, defines the collection.

Tailoring returns, sharpened to a quiet precision. Romanticism lingers in rose-embroidered blazers and delicate lace overlays on silk shirts, but it’s never frivolous. Every flourish feels intentional. Floral motifs, both literal and abstract, weave through the lineup, mirroring the theme of growth and decay, beginnings and endings. Even the fabrics tell a story: intarsia knits, handmade lace, lingerie-inspired finishes. These aren’t just details, but arguments for slowness in an industry obsessed with speed.
