LOEWE Celebrates 10 Years of the Puzzle Bag With a Playful Homage

Ten years ago, LOEWE introduced a bag that changed the game. The Puzzle, with its origami-like folds and sculptural shape, didn’t just carry belongings; it turned leather into art. Now, to mark its anniversary, LOEWE is releasing the Puzzle 10 collection, a tribute to a decade of innovation.
The lineup includes 19 reissued designs, each a standout from the bag’s history, plus one entirely new piece: the Confetti, covered in tiny leather and metal sequins for a jubilant touch. Every version features LOEWE’s expert craftsmanship: intricate appliqué, cross-stitch, embroidered poetry, and the house’s signature leather marquetry. A commemorative metal plaque and two balloon charms seal the celebration.
The Puzzle’s story began in 2015, debuting in womenswear (after a quiet appearance in menswear that same season). Its genius was in its construction: a puzzle of panels that looked like folded paper, yet held its shape perfectly. Over the years, it’s been reimagined in countless materials, colors, and sizes, spawning an entire family of bags.
For this milestone, LOEWE is going all out. The reissues come in special gold-foil-stamped boxes with a mini puzzle inside. Pop-ups at Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Harrods in London will showcase the collection, while exhibitions in Beijing (Genesis Art Gallery) and Taipei (Dopeness Art Lab) dive deeper into its design. LOEWE’s artisans will even give live demonstrations in select cities, revealing how the Puzzle comes together stitch by stitch. A special edition of LOEWE Magazine will trace the bag’s evolution, and an interactive digital experience lets fans explore its history from their phones.
