Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are the new Creative Directors of Loewe

For months we have been hearing that Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez were going to be the next Creative Directors of the Spanish fashion house Loewe and therefore successors to Jonathan Anderson, but it seemed that the day when the rumour would be confirmed was never going to come, until today, Monday 24th March, when it has finally been confirmed through an official statement.
So when will the designer duo join the brand? On 7 April 2025. From then on, McCollough and Hernandez will begin to develop their respective collections and bring to them their distinctive style of design, which raised them – during their time at the brand they founded, Proenza Schouler – to be categorised as two of the most interesting and respected designers in the United States.
Both parties are more than happy about this new era that is about to begin and Jack and Lazaro have expressed this in the following words: “We are incredibly honoured to be joining LOEWE, a house whose values and mission align closely with our own. We look forward to working alongside its extraordinary teams and craftsmen, whose talent – under the exceptional creative direction of Jonathan Anderson – has made LOEWE the cultural force it is today. We extend our sincere gratitude to Bernard Arnault, Delphine Arnault, Sidney Toledano and Pascale Lepoivre for entrusting us with the next chapter of this extraordinary house.”
