Oriol Clavell, a designer from Barcelona, has unveiled his latest collection, “OBLIT,” as part of his final master’s project at Central Saint Martins. The collection was showcased during London Fashion Week, marking a significant moment in Clavell’s career. Inspired by the book Viaje al centro de la Infamia by Sosa Machín, Clavell draws from the queer countercultural movements that emerged during Franco’s dictatorship in Spain. The collection blends utilitarian and military styles with cabaret-inspired elements, creating a unique mix of deconstructed, dark, and hybrid glamour.
