Zadig & Voltaire x EGONLAB
by Adriano Batista
In fashion, a good collaboration is more than just a product drop. It’s a conversation. The new capsule from Zadig & Voltaire and EGONLAB is exactly that: a clear, compelling dialogue between two distinct voices that found common ground.
The premise is simple. Zadig & Voltaire, known for its effortlessly cool Parisian rock ‘n’ roll vibe, handed over two of its signature Sunny bags to the designers at EGONLAB. The result isn’t a mere logo swap. It’s a transformation. The clean lines of the Sunny XL and Moody are reworked with a dose of gritty, symbolic energy. Metal eyelets, long leather fringe, and exposed chains drape from the bags, turning a classic silhouette into something bolder, more theatrical.
This is where the conversation gets interesting. EGONLAB’s contribution is almost spiritual. The inclusion of “Voodoo Doll” keyrings is the perfect example. These are small, embroidered talismans, a playful yet genuine nod to the label’s esoteric universe. They suggest that what we carry is more than functional but also a charm, a personal statement.
