Toiletpaper x Etnia Barcelona Launch Party!
by Fucking Young!

Juan Betancourt
We will remember this party for a long time. Etnia Barcelona hosted a massive private party to launch its limited edition capsule collection with Toiletpaper magazine. This collaboration brings the iconic Italian magazine’s signature Pop Art style to the world of eyewear, resulting in three distinct sunglasses pieces: Dolly, Rose 1 and Rose 2. The collection star is the “Dolly” model, featuring a 3D-printed rose with a blinking eye and gold accents. “Roses 1” and “Roses 2” also highlight the iconic rose design in eye-catching ways.
The models Juan Betancourt and Edu Román, the stylist and creative director Marc Forné, the Spanish actor Carlos Cuevas or the DJ and content creator Luc Loren, were some of the guests at this magical and surreal party throughout the four-floor Flagship Store of Etnia Barcelona in the Borne neighborhood. We were there too, enjoying the live show of the Mallorcan singer Maria Hein. Eating authentic Italian pizza like it’s the end of the world. We were danced with gorgeous waiters, who could feed you with spaghetti bolognese straight from their hands to your mouth. Yes, surreal.

The launch party was a colorful affair, reflecting the collection’s bold and playful aesthetic. The Toiletpaper universe could be felt in every corner. A customized tarot machine by Check-in-Mela read our future. Some artists giving us flowers made with balloons, at the same time. The well-known artist Sergio Dosal illustrated a personalized caricature for us in seconds. It was an iconic night for an iconic collaboration.
The #ToiletpaperxEtniaBarcelona limited edition is available for 289€ (Roses 1 and Roses 2) or 439€ (Dolly) at the Etnia Barcelona Flagship Store and on the Etnia Barcelona website.
