Considered by many to be the Oscars of fashion, The Fashion Awards – organized by the non-profit British Fashion Council – were handed out to their respective winners last night at a ceremony held at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall, where the event is held every year. There, battling the season’s cold temperatures in the UK and wearing their best outfits, numerous well-known faces and industry professionals attended, as well as, of course, all the nominees.
The gala was marked by several moments, such as Chloe and Halle Bailey’s exclusive performance of “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees; fashion architect Law Roach’s reflection on the best fashion moments of the year; or the surprise performance of ‘Heart of Glass’ and “I Feel Love”, both by the legendary Debbie Harry.
