KEYHOLDERS OF MIDNIGHT: A Cosmic Celebration of Aquarius Season and Queer Nightlife in Lisbon
by Adriano Batista
If you are looking for a night of celestial magic, musical ecstasy, and queer solidarity, you don’t want to miss the upcoming event at Outra Cena, the hottest club in Lisbon. On February 10th, two of the club’s regulars, Reda – door girl and consultant of the club – and Onio – Portuguese born performer, DJ and dancer -, are throwing a birthday bash like no other, inviting you to join them in the fascinating world of “KEYHOLDERS OF MIDNIGHT”. This ethereal soiree is not only a tribute to their birthdays but also a homage to the vibrant Aquarian spirits that inspire them and their community.

The event features an exclusive lineup of some of the most talented and diverse DJs and performers from the local and international queer scene. On one side, you will be enchanted by the sounds of mx.pinky (Exude), Cali Rose (New World Dysorder), and Berenice (Culpa), three transcendent talents who will intertwine their beats with the dancefloor’s vibrant allure. On the other side, you will witness the skills of Banu (Dengo Club), C0linas and Viegas (Arvi), three figures of Portuguese nightlife who will make you move with their eclectic mixes. This is one of the rare opportunities to witness a full-on queer FLINTA (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Trans and Agender) + BIMPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) programmation taking over the space and celebrating their identities and cultures.
Outra Cena is more than just a club; it’s a haven for diverse communities to gather and merge and a platform for artistic expression and social change. Since its opening five months ago, the club has gained international recognition and acclaim for its innovative and inclusive club philosophy, and its demanding and diverse program curated by the founder. The club’s staff, from the door to the dancefloor, are more than just employees; they are guardians of an intentional space that thrives on unity and shared enjoyment. They ensure that everyone who enters the club feels welcomed, safe, and protected, and that everyone who leaves the club feels fulfilled, empowered, and connected.
If you are ready to dive into the celestial waves and join the cosmic celebration, mark your calendars for “KEYHOLDERS OF MIDNIGHT”. This is a night you don’t want to miss, where you will experience the magic of Aquarius season.
See you on the dancefloor!
